This exceptional luxury office space in Dublin’s prestigious Georgian Quarter was fully redesigned to create a stand-out commercial offering. Upgrading the function of the building by incorporating break out areas, shower facilities and installation of CAT 6 and fibre cabling was paramount for meeting current business requirements.
Considerable conservation work was carried out including a full restoration of the decorative plasterwork on the Piano Noble reception room ceilings thought to be by the well know Stuccodore Michael Stapleton. Further restoration works to the original parquet floor in the entrance hall and the stain glass side lights were carried out. The largest portion of restoration work was to the basement where the original cellars were exposed and the brick & stone work fully restored.
The of design and installation of a stunning wrought iron balustrade and staircase from this level re-introduced a connection from the basement level to the upper floors and completed the transformation of this property.
